The World Meetei Council (WMC) is an international socio-cultural, indigenous advocacy organization that serves as a platform for uniting the global Meetei community. As a recognized unit of the Global Meetei Foundation, WMC was established with the purpose of protecting indigenous rights, traditional values, and constitutional recognition of Meeteis worldwide.

WMC works through a structured of Central Executive Committee, State Units, Federal Councils, District Committees, and International Divisions to foster a united Meetei voice, promote Meetei heritage, and pursue the constitutional protection and sustainable development of the Meetei people.
